Connect an AI assistant
Trippy Days provides a secure remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for reading and updating trips from supported AI assistants.
Server details
- MCP server URL:
https://www.trippy-days.com/api/mcp - Transport: remote HTTPS MCP
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 with your Trippy Days account
Connect
- Add a new remote MCP connector in your AI assistant.
- Enter the MCP server URL above.
- Sign in with the Google account you use for Trippy Days.
- Review and approve the requested trip-access scopes.
Connecting only requires trips:read. The server also advertises trips:write so assistants can request edit access on connect. Write tools still check trips:writebefore they create, edit, reorder, or delete planning data.
What you can do
Use Trippy Days to list trips; read itineraries, stays, transit, costs, and research; then create or update trip plans, booking details, manual costs, and research ideas. Delete tools are separate from read and edit tools and are marked for confirmation by compatible clients.
Some write tools resolve Google Maps links you provide into structured place metadata for stays, itinerary items, and ground-transit legs. If you omit a label or notes on create_research_link, the page title and description are used when available.
Examples
- “Show me the itinerary for my Japan trip.”
- “Add our hotel booking to the Paris trip.”
- “Create a dinner idea for each evening in Rome.”
